Legend of the Seeker (Cara/Kahlan, Cara/Dahlia) (show tag here.)
Oh god. Where do I begin with this show. I got hooked on it in January and fell hard. I find Kahlan an incredibly compelling character, and Cara even moreso - her ability to be stoic and convey an entire spectrum of emotion by clenching her jaw ever so slightly is just WONDROUS. I love that it is canon that she's bisexual. I also love her conflicting senses of duty, and the delicate interplay between them, and how Kahlan is such a part of shifting that loyalty for her. I'm fascinated by the sister-relationships within the Mord'Sith (implied in show canon, at least) and as a result I find her relationship with Dahlia absolutely fascinating and compelling and I would love to see more of it. I also like Cara and Kahlan together, because they are my two favourites, and you cannot ignore how gay they are for each other in canon.

Also, I hate the books. I really hate the books. More than I hate fire. Please don't incorporate any book canon or try to make the show closer to the books. At all.

Gossip Girl (Blair/Vanessa) (show tag here)
This is a fandom that I have loved for years, and truthfully I love all possible permutations of all the characters on this show. They are my fantastic, rich, bed-hopping favourites, and I just love watching them hook up with each other. This year, I requested only Blair/Vanessa very specifically, because it is my very favourite unsung pairing and I'd LOVE to see it written. They are so similar! Yet so different! They would have long conversations about how much they hated each other and then fall into bed and have ridiculous hatesex that neither of them would speak about the next day! IT WOULD BE AWESOME. Also they were roommates for like thirty seconds this season and even schemed together. I think we all know how sexy Blair finds her scheming.

Gossip Girl RPF (Blake/Leighton) (fandom tag here)
Even though this fandom is, at this point, a bit retro, I still love it to utter pieces. I love Blake. I love Leighton. I love whatever they're doing separately and I love when they film scenes together and spend the entire time spooning on the streets of New York. If you know me, you may have noticed my penchant for ridiculous Blake/Leighton AUs, and that has not changed much. I love high school AUs, pirate AUs, Blake-is-a-competitive-surfer AUs, superhero AUs, whatever you want to throw at me. But I'd also be up for slightly bittersweet trailerfic (as long as it has a happy ending, THOSE ARE IMPORTANT TO ME) if that's what you're more comfortable with, Writer.

Gossip Girl RPF/Disney RPF (Selena Gomez/Leighton Meester)
Because, like - you've seen those pictures, right? Of them filming that movie together in France? And Selena ALL OVER HER and the two of them basically spooning on the streets of Paris? I'm just saying, there could be fic in that. In my head, I sort of picture Selena as having a really awed, little-kid crush and Leighton. . .not encouraging it per se, but not discouraging it, either. Maybe they could bond over how they both like chicks or whatever, and Leighton would teach her how to drink wine.

One caveat: I'm uncomfortable with NC-17 fic for this pairing, since Selena is still a minor. Anything below that goes.

Fringe (Olivia/Astrid, Olivia/Rachel)
I just started watching Fringe a month or so ago, and all I know about it is that I really really really like Olivia, with her guns and her big gay suits and her incredible ability to repress emotions in a sexy way. I would love to see fic where she hooks up with a girl, any girl all, because she just reads as so queer to me, and I really want fic that explores that. I quite like Astrid, and her quiet competence, and I think she and Olivia could be really sweet together, and also then there is no sibcest involved. But it's pretty hard to ignore the way that Olivia and Rachel are essentially coparenting Ella and how that's queer as hell, and I quite like that too. It's whatever you feel best about writing, really.

There is no show tag for Fringe yet, because I've only started watching it, but if you're confused about just how much I love Olivia, just ask thrace_.

In general, I like: relationshippy girlsex, drunk just-for-the-night girlsex, sober just-for-the-night girlsex, kissing, giggling, holding hands, happy endings, girls with a lot of angst who grow as people, Cara and Olivia having feelings, and in-character things. I tend not to like: tears, angst, death, pregnancy, babyfic, non-canon psychiatric issues, explicitly-written sex featuring minors, premature declarations of deep and abiding love. Also, non-con and dubcon are major, eternal, abiding squicks of mine. If you are looking for my fic, because you want to know what I like to write, it's all at scurvyknavery.
