pirateygoodnessGuys, I kind of gave up on Gossip Girl at the beginning of last season, as I'm sure you all have noticed. Not over some like, scandalous case of disgust with the show or anything - I just got behind on my TV, and then friends of mine stopped watching, and I never really saw reason to catch up. (Although god, do I ever miss Serena van der Woodsen in my life.)
However, I never got around to removing all of the Gossip Girl comms from my friendslist, and now all these set photos from Season 5 filming are coming out, and I have no idea what's going on but Blake Lively's hair is still so pretty. Sometimes I enjoy making up stories about them, and pretending that's what's happening with the characters.
Spoilers for S5 wardrobe, and also whatever is actually happening here, IDK.
This one I assume is all about the time that Nate talks Serena into pretending she has health problems, so that she can be his medical marijuana hookup. It's very confusing for both of them, because they are the worst spies ever.
Later, he takes her for ice cream and they make golden retriever faces at each other, then smoke up and take a nap in a blonde, giggly pile on the carpet in Nate's living room.
In this one, I. . .do not know who that other girl is. Is she a friend of Blake's, loitering on set because Blaaken the Bloodthirsty requires her thralls to accompany her? Is she an actress? Do we know what character she's playing? Is she in costume, or did she wear those unflattering pink pants on purpose?
I choose to believe that she's a character on the show, and that Serena and Blair are fighting. In response, Serena has decided to find a new best friend who is exactly like Blair in every way, except blonder and willing to hold her hand in publicand also way more into playing virile-young-stablehand-and-vulnerable-princess back at Serena's place.
Possibly this culminates in a shouting match between Blair and Serena, in the rain, where they sort out their shit and Blair gay-proposes and Serena agrees and they have the most elaborate City Hall wedding New York has ever seen.
Tomorrow: fangirl lunchtime withnoblealice and hjea! They have both 100% promised to start watching Warehouse 13!
