pirateygoodnessNot the hugest fan of this week's episode, for obvious needs-more-women-related reasons and not to get into gender politics too much, but so obviously written by a dude, wow. A picspam isn't happening this week, mostly because I don't have a ton of time, but still - some things I loved: a short list.
1. LOLLL OH BO I HAVE MISSED YOU. AND YOUR BEING RAISED BY WOLVES AND YOUR INABILITY TO MAKE COFFEE FOR YOURSELF AND HOW YOU ARE SO, SO, SO EASY WHEN PEOPLE START TALKING ABOUT ~NOT PLAYING BY THE RULES~ AND ~INDIVIDUALITY~ BECAUSE IT APPEALS TO YOUR INNER FIFTEEN YEAR OLD.
2. Things I am still super into: that thing Bo does, whenever she's interacting with new women where she STARES and her eyes scream PERHAPS I SHOULD DO HER THAT WOULD BE FUN and then she snaps herself out of it because of how she's ~mature~ now. Goodness gracious I love it.
Even though in the context of this entire episode and the creepy male-gaze stuff, it is perhaps not so awesome, but whatever: I am running with it.
3. GUYS. GUYS WE NEED TO DISCUSS, JUST FOR A SECOND, HOW BO'S ~RITUAL MARK~ FOR GENIE CAPTURING AND OTHER IMPORTANT RITUALS IS A HICKEY.
A HICKEY.
Because I just cannot. ♥Oh show♥ .
4. ALSO: BO IS WONDER WOMAN?
5. ALSO ALSO: LOKI. ACTUALLY.
6. ALSO ALSO ALSO: LOOK IF THERE IS ONE THING I THINK WE HAVE ALL LEARNED FROM NORSE MYTHOLOGY IT'S THAT BANGING LOKI IS A HORRIBLE IDEA, HE WILL INEVITABLY TURN OUT TO SECRETLY BE YOUR BROTHER OR SOMETHING. TRUST ME, BO: THE FACT THAT HE IS DARK FAE IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG, ALL ~JUST THE TIP~ JOKES ASIDE.
7. ALSO HE IS REALLY REALLY GREASY UGH, I GET THAT SOMETIMES THE SHOW NEEDS GRATUITOUS MAN-CANDY BUT I CANNOT CONDONE THIS.
8. Things I don't care about even a little: Dyson's feelings about his feelings.
