Heeeeey fandom. Oh man, has it been a long while since last we spoke.

SOME THINGS.

1) I tooootally went to FanExpo and got to introduce/hang out with noblealice and carmen_sandiego, which was delightful. We got to be in a room with Zoie Palmer, who used the phrase "bakey smurf" in a sentence, as well as the rest of the Lost Girl cast who remain RADIANTLY BEAUTIFUL in person, oh good grief. I remain half-convinced that Anna Silk is a cylon, HOW IS SHE THE AGE THAT SHE IS AND THAT LOVELY FACE-WISE.

(I am still plugging away at my Lost Girl rewatch. I feel like I need to do a post that is just OH MAN GUYS REMEMBER WHEN THIS HAPPENED ON SEASON 2 OF LOST GIRL, NO SERIOUSLY, THEY ACTUALLY MADE THIS AN EPISODE OF REAL TV.)

We also went to the Continuum panel, despite all of us having seen maybe half the show between us, and they kind of sold me on watching their show. Guys, it is actually, like, super good. Future Cop Rachel Nichols has a lot of feelings but also shoots things, and while I wish there were more women, I like what they're doing with the whole time travel concept. Also: Canada.

2) HEY SPEAKING OF TIME TRAVEL. I am watching Dr Who this season, mostly so that when they inevitably kill Amy Pond in a horrible flash of firey space-time death, I can be quietly outraged without getting spoiled for it. And then I can quietly hold a grudge against the next companion, who I'm sure will be perfectly lovely but won't be Amy Pond.

(I had this problem waaaay back in the day when Martha was a companion and they wrote her off. This show. Me + female characters. Etc.)

3) I remain really, super invested in Warehouse 13. Like, a lot.

ALSO I STILL WANT CLAUDIA TO RUN INTO KENZI SOMEWHERE IN TORONTO AND BECOME HER BFF.

4) THIS IS A PLACEHOLDER. HAVE WATCHED NEARLY ALL OF NIKITA (CW, Maggie Q & Evil Julie Cooper). PLANNING TO SCRAWL "NIKITA TOTALLY LOVES ALEX 4EVA" ALL OVER THE BATHROOM WALLS.

ALSO THIS ONE TIME THERE WAS AN EPISODE WHERE KENZI WAS AN EVIL RUSSIAN SEX-WORKER. ALSO ALSO THERE WAS ANOTHER EPISODE WHERE DOCTOR LAUREN WAS AN EVIL MAYBE ALSO RUSSIAN WEAPON BUYER.
