pirateygoodnessI finally caught up on my TV viewing (mostly, those last four episodes of BSG are still collecting dust on my hard drive), and now I have THOUGHTS ON GOSSIP GIRL. Not that anybody cares, because this is way after the fact, but still. Might as well.
gossip girl 2.24: valley girls
Oooooh. LILY RHODES/VAN DER WOODSEN/BASS HAS DADDY ISSUES. God nobody cares. I love Brittany Snow, but Lily VDW is dead boring no matter how old she is, I am sorry. THAT, and the luzly unsubtle cut-scene-ness of "BLAIR/SERENA AND CAROL/LILY: THEY'RE DIFFERENT BUT IN MANY WAYS, THEY'RE THE SAME. ALSO NOT GAY. SEE THE CUTSCENES? THEY ARE LIKE SIBLINGS. SO THEY CAN'T POSSIBLY BE GAY."
Like, if that show had been picked up? Swear to god, it would have been the lesbian equivalent to Supernatural, but with more hair metal.
The only good thing about this episode was discovering that BLAKE LIVELY DANCES LIKE SHE IS SEVEN. How did you guys not WARN me that that was going to happen. I think my heart exploded.

Guys, the finale was AMAZING and I just about died. I mean, the Blair/Chuck was whatever (they make me like him because he is conniving, and the they make me hate him because he is boring and mopey. Confusing!) and LOL LILY AND RUFUS GOT BAKED AND DECIDED TO GET MARRIED, THERE'S A GOOD LIFE CHOICE but otherwise THAT IS MY SHOW, ALRIGHT? THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT. WITH DRAMA AND SERENA IN CUTE DRESSES THAT SHOW OFF HOW HOT SHE IS, and also LOL NATE IS LITERALLY A MAN-WHORE.
Plus Georgiiiina, Georgina Sparks is going to be AROUND FOREVER AND EVER, STEALING MONEY AND DOING COKE AND NOT LOVING JESUS. Best ever.
In conclusion, I am totally stoked for next season already.
