picspam: legend of the seeker 2.07: the gayest ever no for real.

IDK. Like, some other stuff happened? But this is pretty much what I remember.

Yeah, They're Almost Too Gay To Function
All The Good Parts of Legend of the Seeker 2.07


WE BEGIN WITH A GIANT SWORD FIGHT, WITH FIRE AND THEN CARA AND KAHLAN TAG TEAM SOME DUDE.



And then, I don't know, something with the plot. I spaced out for a bit, and the next thing I knew, this was happening.



So anyway. Cara and some dude track some other dude, and end up in a brothel. Run by a lady who used to be a Mord'Sith and is now. . .not? IDK. Cara is sort of weirdly judgey of the fact that Denna hangs out with hookers, in this totally self-satisfied way - like, maybe it's the Midlands equivalent of discovering that the mean girl at your high school is, ten years later, working at McDonald's? Which I'm not sure I'm okay with, but she makes the most ADORABLE bitchfaces and I can't even be mad at her. Also, Denna is all PLEASE, TRY OUR EMPLOYEES. THEY'RE VERY FUN.



LOL, so then. Richard tries to get Cara to go back to meet the others, and she is like, NOT HAVING IT. Seriously, there is a full two-minute conversation where she tries to talk her way out of leaving the brothel, and I guess it's because she wants to keep him safe, ostensibly? IT DOES NOT READ LIKE THAT.

Anyway. Then she has a (verbal) showdown with Denna, in which actually - ACTUALLY - she is all, "lol thanks for the offer, but I WOULD SNAP YOUR HOOKERS LIKE TWIGS, I need a real lady to play with SO I'M PEACING OUT." Like, this is her big objection to the free sex. GUYS IN CASE YOU COULD NOT ALREADY TELL, I AM IN LOVE.

Oh and then she defends Kahlan's honour. Literally.



AND THEN - I, okay. I tried to cap this, but jengrrrl has a much better gif, so I am just going with that. Cara gets attacked and Kahlan dives to her rescue like a fucking angel of death in her white robes and shit, and IT'S AMAZING.



There's also some hugging and crying and Kahlan makes these omgfaaaaaaaaaces and I am not going to try to explain the plot, because it sounds silly if you just write it out. JUST KNOW THAT KAHLAN HAS A LOT OF FEELINGS AND SHE'S WAY HOT.



THEN, CARA AND KAHLAN SLIT THROATS IN TANDEM. AND GO RESCUE THE DUDE, WHO HAS GOTTEN HIMSELF IN TROUBLE AGAIN.



And then, OH MY GOD, so Cara is like hanging out with Kahlan and their wizard friend and also the spirit of Kahlan's sister (who she maaaybe murdered a little bit) in a hooker's body, and she is all - VERY AWKWARDLY, in this way where she's very clearly both totally embarrassed and horrified at herself for saying anything - CAN I PLEASE JUST SAY, I'M REALLY SORRY THAT I KILLED YOU. I FEEL KIND OF BAD NOW. The sister, unsurprisingly, is all GEE THANKS, SORRY ABOUT NOT FORGIVING YOU FOR THAT. And ungkfjsdl;kfj, Kahlan totally notices and Cara is obviously so unhappy at apologizing but she does it anyway and nngh GUYS. I can't even be articulate, IT WAS JUST THIS REALLY SWEET MOMENT AND I LOVE WHEN CARA AND KAHLAN HAVE FEEEEEELINGS.



So anyway. They have to bring the main dude back from the dead, because SURPRISE he got himself captured and then killed and then someone reanimated his body with a different person in it, IT WAS A WHOLE THING, and he wakes up to this.



Which, let's be honest. YOU CANNOT FAULT HIM for immediately kissing her. Anyway, AS THEY ARE MAKING OUT, the show cuts to Cara. Who sort of looks like she wants to cut a bitch. Possibly she is conflicted because that is the man she is ~sworn to protect~ and he's making out with HER girlfriend, so she is not sure who, if either of them, she should choke first? WHATEVER, I DON'T WANT TO READ TOO MUCH INTO THINGS.

The last thing I remember is Cara being all, UH, WE SHOULD GET GOING. I REALLY WANT TO PUNCH DENNA IN THE HEAD AGAIN, RIGHT NOW. FOR SOME REASON. NO NO, KEEP KISSING, IT'S COOL.




NEXT WEEK: Kahlan wears the most insane outfit I have ever SEEN (PRETTY SURE THIGH-HIGH BOOTS =/= HISTORICALLY ACCURATE) and maybe has a sword.
