Hey, you guys, remember how Blake Lively is a viking warlord? (In case the contents of that tag don't make sense: Blake Lively is a viking warlord. It's a running inside joke courtesy of bleighton_squee, and also just true facts.)

So anyway. fivewhatfive is writing something totally amazing (like, totally amazing) that she's withholding from everyone, but IN THE MEANTIME, oh god. thrace_ and I got to talking, about how Blake is a viking and what if Kahlan and Cara (yes yes, mixing RPF and FPF, whatever) were like, on a journey to the far north and happened to run into the territory of Blaaken the Bloodthirsty and her favourite wench Laetin, and then maybe they had wild adventures and there was girlsex.

AND THEN SHE WROTE IT.

Guys, Every Mile Is Two In Winter. IT IS WONDROUS, and you don't have to know anything about Blaaken the Bloodthirsty for it to make sense. JUST READ IT AND BASK IN HOW GOOD IT IS.


Also, I don't know if you guys have heard of ladykink, but perhaps you should go there and write stories for it. (But - maybe not Legend of the Seeker fic. There's something coming for that, next week.)
