LADIES AND OTHER LADIES, Selena Gomez on her new girlfriend Leighton Meester.

When I started on the movie, I was just getting to know my co-stars Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy but we've become so close! They've experienced much more than me because they're older so we have long talks and share stories. We're inseparable! I feel better, like I've learned a lot about myself.

Oh, and also, I have a special treat for all of you. As I may or may not have mentioned several hundred dozen times, [livejournal.com profile] thrace_ and I have concocted a ridiculous alternate universe in which Olivia Dunham hooks up with CIA Agent Blake Lively, and whatever it's going to be awesome.

The embarrassingly long fic that goes with that is coming in the next week or so, but until then, have a ficlet.

every new beginning, Fringe/Gossip Girl RPF AU, Olivia Dunham/Agent Blake Lively, PG-13, 368 words.

The first time is in Prague.

She's there supervising Walter, who's been called in by the CIA to consult. So, technically, this isn't even Olivia's case. But it's a fringe case, even if Fringe Division doesn't have jurisdiction, and so she's up late in her room looking back over case files, trying to see a patterns and find connections.

There's a knock on the door, and when Olivia answers, it's Agent Lively on the other side, still wearing her suit. Olivia's went into her suitcase hours ago, back when she was still thinking about going to sleep.

Suddenly, with Blake looking at her, Olivia's faded t-shirt makes her feel underdressed.

"Thought I'd find you here," Blake says, and then she's walking into Olivia's room, looking around.

"You did?" Olivia says, closing the door behind her.

"Well, it was a tossup between here and the hotel bar, and I already checked down here."

"No wonder they let you become a spy." She twists her mouth into a half-smile, trying to show that she's joking, but it's still a half-second before Blake relaxes, smiling at her so easily that Olivia can hardly believe she is a spy. She's got to be at least twenty-two, but she looks like such a kid, sometimes.

Blake sits down, spreading her hands wide across files that Olivia's been staring at for the past hour. Olivia can't tell if she's here for work, or for something else entirely, and there's a part of her that hardly cares which one it is. She sits next to Blake, and waits for her to speak.

"I can't believe this case," Blake says, voice suddenly soft. She's flicked through the file, found the crime scene photos, the ones Olivia's going to remember for a good, long while. "Have you ever seen anything like this?"

Olivia smiles, a little bitter around the edges. "Actually, yeah."

"Oh." Blake's eyes flick down to her hands, then across the room, everywhere but Olivia.

"It gets easier," Olivia says, nudging Blake's shoulder with her own.

Blake looks up, eyes a little too bright. "Thanks," she says, sounding like she actually means it.

It's all Olivia can do to keep from staring at the shape of her mouth.
