pirateygoodnessOh, Gossip Girl. Whenever I've got problems, you're there, like a warm cup of cocoa who once dated her stepbrother and gets into hair-pulling contests with Blair Waldorf.
In other words, I am totally digging Season 4.
For one thing: no Jenny Humphrey! Who - while I actually don't mind Taylor Momsen - totally drags the pace of the show and needs to stay in Hudson until like episode ten. For another: LOLLL CHUCK BASS. HE JUST WANTS A HUG, SO HE DECIDED TO FAKE HIS OWN DEATH AND GO INTO HIDING WITH SOME HOT CZECH GIRL. OF COURSE. For another another: LOL Nate Archibald, still being Dan's sex therapist and being dumber than every other person in his life. I missed him the second-most of all.
Also, Georgina had someone else's baby and tricked Dan into being its dad. And also answers the phone in what I can only hope is Russian. God, I love her and how crazy she is. And how she's totally working as a coke mule for the mob or something and honestly the only thing that could make this better is if, somehow, it turned out that she stole that baby. BEST STORYLINE OF THEM ALL.
OH AND ALSO THIS THING HAPPENED. WITH BLAIR AND SERENA. IN PARIS.
"Please don't go? I don't care about dating a prince. I don't care about dating anyone, I just care about you. I really need my friend right now. I've been acting like I'm okay, but - I'm not. They say its a broken heart, but - I hurt in my whole body. I mean, what if I stay like this forever? What if I never get over Chuck?"
"You will. You'll see."
"I just don't know what I'd do without you. I'm scared if you come to Columbia that I'll do something to destroy us."
"Well, you pushed me in a fountain tonight and here we are talking about it like mature young woman. So I'd say that's a good sign."
"But what if Columbia's a disaster and we lose each other for good?"
"And what if it's amazing and we become closer than we've ever been? Come on. Live dangerously. You in?"
"Yeah, I'm in."
♥ THESE TWO ♥. Just when I think this show has dropped the ball, SERENA AND BLAIR AND BLAIR AND SERENA happen, and I remember why I love it so much.
