pirateygoodnessSo, I tried to watch Spartacus, because Jaime Murray is in it and I enjoy her flirty faces. Except, guys, I - I can't even LJ about it. That show is so embarrassing, it's 20% LOOK WE CAN MAKE SEVERED CAROTID ARTERIES SPURT WITH CGI, 40% LOOK HOW MANY TIMES WE CAN SAY THE WORD 'COCK' WHILE ALSO USING LATIN, and 30% NONDESCRIPT SHIRTLESS WHITE GUYS WITH SCRAGGLY HAIR.
Also, both Slutty Roman Lucy Lawless and Slutty Roman Jaime Murray appear to spend most of their time being turned on by spurty arteries and money. Also, they ruined the only sexy gay parts by INTERCUTTING THEM WITH SOMEBODY GETTING KICKED IN THE HEAD IN SLOW MOTION.
IDK. Probably I'll keep watching until the girls stop kissing.
I have also spent a shocking chunk of my weekend marathoning most of Lost Girl (in my defense, there are only thirteen episodes), and guys. GUYS. This show is ridiculous, which I was kind of expecting, because the main character has MAGIC SEX POWERS, but like - even more ridiculous than that. Yet I am a little in love with Hot Doctor Lauren, and her hair and her smile and the way she walks like a homo and her giant, adorable crush on Bo.
Basically, my opinions on this show can be summed up entirely by the following screencap.
