This episode was awesome and legitimately everything I wanted out of a finale and also THE ENTIRE THEME OF THE EPISODE WAS LADIES SOLVING PROBLEMS AND SAVING SHIT AND BEING FANTASTIC, WHILE DUDES ARE HELPFUL SORT OF I GUESS. Best.
1. BO'S PLAN: LOLLLL BO THAT WAS A HORRIBLE IDEA, OF COURSE YOU ARE NOW SECRETLY IMBUED WITH A POWERFUL DARKNESS FROM WITHIN THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO BE THE EVIL SUCCUBUS QUEEN OF ALLCANADA THE WORLD.
HOWEVER, OMG, THAT THING WHERE THEY WERE ALL HER THRALLS WAS KIND OF MAGNIFICENT.I DEFINITELY DON'T WANT FIC WHERE BO AND KENZI HOOK UP AND IT'S OKAY BECAUSE OF BO'S BLOOD SO IT DOESN'T COUNT. Also, of course, was the amazing thing where even though Hale and Dyson and Val and Vex behaved super differently once they were Bo's thralls, Kenzi and Lauren stayed exactly the same. Because of feelings.
2. LESBIANS!/Guys Bo and Lauren were so fucking dashing this week, I CANNOT EVEN COPE WITH IT. BO LOVES LAUREN AND EVERYONE ELSE IN THIS BAR SO MUCH.
WORKING TOGETHER. THAT FUCKING KISS WHEN THEY SPLIT UP AND LAUREN WAS ALL, "I'LL BE ALRIGHT, GO SAVE THE WORLD, WE'LL HOOK UP WHEN YOU GET BACK." THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR HOW AMAZING THAT WAS. WOMEN WHO LIKE WOMEN AND SAVE THE WORLD TOGETHER = MY ULTIMATE TEENAGE DREAMS FINALLY COMING TRUE.
ALSO: LOLLL NONE FOR DYSON. EVEN THOUGH HE BEGGED FOR SEX. THIS EPISODE CLEARLY TOOK PLACE IN OPPOSITE LAND, BUT I AM SO THRILLED THAT I DON'T CARE.
3. ALSO oh man oh man, Bo and Kenzi and their amazing, brilliant OTfriendship. Kenzi kiiind of almost refusing to promise to kill Bo if she turned evil and crazy, BECAUSE THEY ARE FOREVER. Kenzi crawling to see Bo even after she almost died, and talking her down when her Queen Of All Everything side started coming out. Their friendship is just so wonderful, and I have no idea when I turned into a person who was able to really appreciate straight BFFs without really shipping themmuch, but OH MY GOD. ♥
4. Kenzi and Hale, you guys, I JUST CANNOT. Again, when did I grow hetero-OTP feelings, you guys?
IDk, but basically I just very very deeply want them to turn into one of those couples who is having secret sex and quietly super into each other in a LET'S NEVER TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS sort of way, and THIS SHOW IS KILLING ME, MAKE THAT HAPPEN OMG.
Also: I very much want to know what is happening to Kenzi, because CLEARLY she is developing some sort of bizarre and unwanted Fae power from either the Norn or from being healed by Hale. But ALSO I want approx 90000 fanfictions exploring this over the summer, OMG.
In conclusion: THIS SHOW, you guys. This ridiculous, over the top, melodramatic, Canadian hour of magical awesomeness. I want to gay marry it in a glorious yet tasteful ceremony off the coast of Newfoundland. Our cake will be covered in maple syrup.
