Guys, I'm gonna be straight-up honest. I'm not watching Camelot. I'm watching Morgan and Vivian's Ladies Only Black Magic Party Times, and let me tell you, IT IS AN AWESOME SHOW.
I am not going to front: Camelot in and of itself is kind of terrible. They managed to pick a very skinny, unassuming guy fro Arthur, and I can see why they thought that decision would be a good one, boy king thrust into power etc, but he just looks childish and out of place, I don't know. It doesn't help that his current story arc is to act like a teenager who's pissed because his crush went to the prom withFrank from the Altverse, someone else, but even so. It is lackluster and mostly about straight men talking about ~what they fight for, except that they appear to be chilling out in a castle without any visible or imminent threats save Morgan, who is FANTASTIC.
WHICH BRINGS ME TO MORGAN AND VIVIAN'S LADIES-ONLY BLACK MAGIC PARTY TIMES.
So, backing up to last week's episode:
Morgan killed the abusive warlord she tried to seduce into helping her ~get the crown~, and is now trying a different tack, namely: witchcraft. She goes down into the dungeon, and is talking about sprucing up the torture section when this girl appears out of the darkness and is all, "Yes. There was tons of torture here. I was there."
Morgan is immediately entranced. She decides on the spot that Vivian will be her new chief of staff, and also there should be more women around the castle. (And, okay - I think this is supposed to be read as her reacting to the fact that her warlord boyfriend threatened her with sexual assault*, but it also reads as SCREAMINGLY QUEER and I am choosing to run with that.)
*If you are a person who finds that sort of thing triggery to watch, there is an episode that you should avoid. If you'd like warnings about this in advance, let me know.

And - I don't know. I HONESTLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT MORGAN'S DEAL IS, except that she was raised by nuns and really likes witchcraft and power and IS GOING TO BE KING OKAY, EVEN IF IT KILLS HER. She just sort of runs around making demands and staring at people in a way that is about 50% let's-have-sex, 50% I-want-to-use-you-in-a-ritual-sacrifice. IT'S WEIRDLY ALLURING?
(Actually, do you know who she reminds me of a lot? If any of you have seen the YouTube sensation A Very Potter Musical, her scenes remind me a lot of those times when Draco is rolling around on the floor and shouting about stuff while everyone looks on, not caring. EXCEPT AMAZING?)
Here are some times in the last three episodes when Morgan was attractive or interesting OR BOTH. I hope they influence your television-watching behaviour in some way, and that you enjoy staring at them.

In conclusion, Eva Green is GORGEOUS, and reason enough to watch this show. Plus, she has A CREEPY ROOM WITH SHACKLES IN IT FOR HER OWN PERSONAL AMUSEMENT. And A STABLE OF LADYSERVANTS. And also IDK, the knights of the round table appear to just lie around and wrestle each other a fair bit, if that's your jam. My point is, I honestly do not understand how this show is not causing fandom to basically explode with fic. Run, don't walk, kids.
