pirateygoodnessThoughts on Fringe 4.02. No pictures, as I am late for VERY IMPORTANT COFFEE with hjea and noblealice.
Guys, Olivia and Altlivia are SO GAY for each other, I cannot even begin to describe it. They hate each other! Yet they have to work together! There is tentative mutual respect yet also Altlivia keeps antagonizing Olivia like a child!
Basically, so far this season, I am mostly enjoying how Altlivia's faces around Olivia seem to hover somewhere between "you're ridiculous" and "maybe we should have sex later." And also how there is 90% more Anna Torv, and 40% less Pacey.
Other things I really enjoyed:
- Lincoln becoming the new Astrid. Kennedy! Also, the dynamics of that are a lot less problematic when they are both straight white men, so I am able to enjoy it much more fully.
- AltBroyles is alive again! Huzzah!
- Apparently the entire illegitimate lovechild arc never happened, THANK FUCKING GOD.
Things I perhaps enjoyed less:
- Okay, it was totally awesome to see Olivia and Astrid actually get to interact in a non-exposition way, and they were adorable. But - IDK, really, show? Talking about boys? Sigh, Bechdel test, etc.
