pirateygoodness1. I am so conflicted re: this week's Castle. On the one hand, they had this amazing setup where there was a badass lady-investigator and she and Beckett hated each other and for a brief, shining moment, it was incredibly gay. And then they made it all about how Beckett is jealous because Other Lady Cop is trying to steal her not-boyfriend, and - I don't know. Every part of me wants to be like, FUCK THIS NORMATIVE NONSENSE, but then Stana Katic makes these beautiful terrified faces every time Beckett even thinks about actually admitting that she likes Castle, and my heart grows approx. twelve sizes. It is a confusing time for me, guys, is what I am saying. However, while I work out my feelings, I have Beckett's beautiful, glorious hair to admire.
Also, Nan Flanigan was the killer, and that was amazing.
ALSO GUYS SHE WORE A TIE THIS WEEK, UNF, #2 A++ GAY OUTFIT KINK, DIRECTLY BELOW "BLACK TANK TOP AND JEANS" BUT ABOVE "LEATHER MOTORCYCLE JACKET."
2. I have started watching The Good Wife, I guess? I still don't know how I feel about it. I think I have too many serious-business issues re: The Legal System to ever love this show, but Kalinda is really pretty. However, I still really wish it was just Kalinda and that sexy FBI agent who's also Rufus Humphrey's art buyer girlfriend, hanging out and drinking tequila. Alicia could come too, I guess. Cary is a douchebag and I care about all other characters very little.
Things I enjoy: how many old guest cast members from Gossip Girl are on that show.
3. Speaking of Gossip Girl? Recentlyadventurepants pointed out to me that the whole storyline with Dan's novel is basically the last three seasons of The L Word and Some Of Her Parts. I keep getting flashbacks to Jennifer Beals being all JENNY FUCKING SHECTER and that time Jenny was a film producer who got a ridiculous dog, and Stacy Merkin, and the time Dawn Denbo and her lover Cindi told everyone that It Was On, and basically it's making me want to watch this season of Gossip Girl, please help.
