1. I am so conflicted re: this week's Castle. ( spoilers for castle 4.05 )

2. I have started watching The Good Wife, I guess? I still don't know how I feel about it. I think I have too many serious-business issues re: The Legal System to ever love this show, but Kalinda is really pretty. However, I still really wish it was just Kalinda and that sexy FBI agent who's also Rufus Humphrey's art buyer girlfriend, hanging out and drinking tequila. Alicia could come too, I guess. Cary is a douchebag and I care about all other characters very little.

Things I enjoy: how many old guest cast members from Gossip Girl are on that show.

3. Speaking of Gossip Girl? Recently

adventurepants pointed out to me that the whole storyline with Dan's novel is basically the last three seasons of The L Word and Some Of Her Parts. I keep getting flashbacks to Jennifer Beals being all JENNY FUCKING SHECTER and that time Jenny was a film producer who got a ridiculous dog, and Stacy Merkin, and the time Dawn Denbo and her lover Cindi told everyone that It Was On, and basically it's making me want to watch this season of Gossip Girl, please help.

Which brings me, in a roundabout way, to Gossip Girl 2.16: You've Got Yale. I have been saving the last half of this ep to watch for, like, weeks now, but I finally got around to it, and just. You GUYS. I have some ISSUES with the tail end of that episode, that I feel are best explained the way I explained it to

girlboymusic like three minutes ago on AIM.

Like, I have a lot of serious issues with this in light of the way they established Chuck's character in the first season, because, like. Retconning the only memorable thing his character did in the pilot so you can guiltlessly have him play piano and look sensitive and be boring is just. . .lame.

Oh my god, The L Word. I have nothing to say except that this show is a RIDICULOUS CLUSTERFUCK of SELF-INDULGENT HOMOS and it gives me many, many LOLs. Especially with Helena. Because she is my favourite, and learned how to be a bouncer despite weighing 90 pounds soaking wet, because of how she did TIME in the JOINT.

Also, I hate Jenny's stupid face and her stupid hair and her stupid everything, and the weird art-school extreme-close-up camera thing they're going with this season is not helping. At all.

I have listened to Lady GaGa's "Just Dance" 33 times since last night. On the one hand, I hate myself. On the other, DANCE PARTY.

VHudg and Tizz are, like, almost too gay to function.

You guys, High School Musical 2 really does get better and better every time I watch it. The part in "You Are the Music in Me" where their voices don't line up in the audio. The ridiculous amount of Zac Efron's boxers hanging out in, like, every scene. The part where they have to slow down parts of songs from the soundtrack versions to force them into matching the actors' lips. The part where Zeff totally cops a feel. "Work This Out." The plot. "Bet On It."

I don't care if everyone says it's the worst of the HSM movies, I just want to cuddle the entire production.

(Also, does anyone - say,

shrewtee or

captaincatapult - have a copy of Vanessa Hudgens' "Don't Talk"? I'm getting the impression that it's one of those songs like "Party on the Moon" that didn't technically make the album, but I really want to listen to it.)

And hey, speaking of ridiculous pop culture that nobody cares about except for me and a very select group of weirdos - the L Word is apparently getting a spinoff? And the premise of that spinoff is - like I could fucking make this up - ( spoiler for S7, I guess? )

I have given up on expecting anything but ridiculous, brain-melting unintentional LOLs from Ilene Chaiken, so I for one cannot WAIT to see how this is going to work.
